The Municipal Government of Montevideo and República Negocios Fiduciarios modify the “STM Trust” agreement
On 9 January 2020 the Municipal Government of Montevideo signed with República Negocios Fiduciarios the amendment to the management trust agreement called “Fideicomiso STM” [Metropolitan Transport System Trust].
The amendment will enable the incorporation of the income from the pre-payment and post-payment systems of the STM card in all the metropolitan and departmental passenger lines that operate within the Metropolitan Area of Montevideo, making the agreements reached between the Municipal Government of Montevideo, the Municipal Government of Canelones and the Ministry of Transport and Public Works viable.
